The mission of the New Hampshire HIV Planning Group (HPG) is to work to promote and develop strategies that enhance seamless access to coordinated and collaborative services for residents of New Hampshire.

our history

The New Hampshire HIV Planning Group was first organized as an HIV Prevention Community Planning Group in 1994 as the result of a National Mandate. As the HIV epidemic changed, so did HIV Prevention Community Planning, evolving into HIV Planning that encompasses both HIV prevention and HIV care services. This combined effort allows the New Hampshire HIV Planning Group to work toward meeting the National HIV Strategy.

The current HIV Planning Group is focused on developing and promoting strategies that enhance seamless access to coordinated and collaborative services for residents of New Hampshire. In that effort much emphasis is placed on providing education about HIV and related issues. The belief is that increased education about any and all HIV-related issues will result in greater understanding and collaboration.
