Steering Committee – New Hampshire HIV Planning Group

The Hep Free NNE Steering Committee is an advisory group that provides leadership, coordination, support, and oversight for viral hepatitis B and C elimination planning across New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont.

STEERING COMMITTEE MISSION

To guide and oversee a viral hepatitis elimination strategic planning process that engages a diverse group of partners across Northern New England (New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont), with a focus on prioritizing and amplifying the voices of individuals disproportionately affected by viral hepatitis and the organizations that serve them.

STEERING COMMITTEE VISION

A clear framework for how Northern New England will be a place where new hepatitis B and C infections are prevented, every person knows their status, and every person with viral hepatitis has high-quality health care and treatment free from stigma and discrimination.

COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES

The Hep Free NNE Steering Committee maintains strategic accountability and assumes overall responsibility for advising the strategic planning process from start to finish. Members provide high-level direction and oversight, serving on steering committee subcommittees or on ad-hoc planning initiatives as necessary. Steering committee members are also members of the broader Hep Free NNE Planning Group and may chair workgroups.

Steering Committee Meetings

Meetings are held via a recurring Zoom meeting, every 3rd Thursday of the month, from 11am – 12pm. 2024 meeting dates are: April 18, May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19.
